What inspired you to start modeling?
When I was in middle school I was in a club that held little fashion shows in school. I never imagined it could be my profession.
What's the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?
The first thing I do in the morning is thank God for a new day.

My celebrity crush is Idris Elba
Where has been your favorite place to shoot?
One of my very 1st shoots was at a beautiful botanical garden near DC.
Who inspires your modeling career?
I am inspired by many plus size models. I feel it's been difficult for plus models to get the same notoriety as straight sized models and we have to work that much harder.
Must-have fashion accessory?
Hoop earings make any outfit look effortless.
What advice would you give to women hoping to get into the industry?
If you want to get into this industry I implore you to never give up and know that sometimes you have to step outside of your comfort zone to be successful. It can't be more important to anyone else than it is to you!
What's the most exciting aspect of being a plus-size model?
The most exciting aspect of being a plus model is getting to showcase beautiful clothing that caters to the sizes I actually wear.
Do you have any advice for designers in the plus-size industry when it comes to look, feel, and fit?
My advise for designers is to have the same stylish designs in plus that you do in straight size. Plus women want to feel cute and sexy too.
What was your favorite part about the shoot?
My favorite part of my recent shoot was working on our mini motorcycle. How fun was that!
What was your favorite dress of ours to model in and why?
I absolutely love the Tiana dress. It hugs my every curve and makes me feel beautiful and sexy!
What did you love about working with Sydney's Closet?
Working with Sydney's closet was so much fun. They literally made me feel like family and every dress was magical and I felt like a princess.
