It was a pleasure working with plus size model Chearice Vaughn during our 2016 Social Occasion photo shoot. Chearice brought light to the set and was a breath of fresh air. We fell in love with Chearice during the 2015 FFFWeek runway show and could not get enough of her bone structure and hair! Meet our model Chearice Vaughn! This is a hard one! I would probably say Atlanta because my sister is there and I'd be a little closer to Mississippi because my mom still lives there. I also want to own a house on a Caribbean Island so I can get away anytime I like. 2.Tell us about the Charity of your choice. Why did you choose this organization? My charity of choice is the Tom Joyner Foundation. 
This organization, created by radio personality Tom Joyner, raises money to provide scholarships to deserving students to attend Historically Black Colleges and Universities(HBCU). This organization has raised over $65 million dollars and provided scholarships to over 20,000 students. I grew up in a family of educators; my grandmother, mom, aunts, brother, and several cousins were all teachers. 
Most of my family, including my grandmother, attended Alcorn State University, a HBCU in Lorman, Mississippi so this is a charity that is very personal to me. 3.Finish this statement: I never leave the house without (give 3 things)... Like many people, I feel detached from the world if I don't have phone, my portable charger, and my wallet. 4.What fashion trends are you obsessing over right now? I think they refer to them as "flat form sandals". They are sandals that have the thicker soles. They give you a little height without sacrificing style. 
5.What's the one favorite item in your closet that you could never be persuaded to give away? Why? I have several purses and jewelry from my deceased sister Deborah Washington and my Aunt Deloris Cagins. When I wear them it's a way of having them present with me wherever I go. 6.What do you wear when you dress to impress? I love a form-fitted dress in a bold color! I've also become obsessed with shoes so you have to have the perfect shoe to complement your outfit. 7.Finish this statement: When I want to stop traffic I wear... When I'm ready to stop traffic, I wear a form fitted dress with a scoop neck in a bold flattering color, a statement making pair of earrings, and a sexy pair of pumps. I wear my hair in my favorite Mohawk style and natural make up. 8.How did you get started as a plus size model? I participated in a plus size runway competition in Baltimore, Maryland. I had no idea what I was doing, but figured why not give it a shot. I can't remember how many girls were in the contest but I came in 8th place! I was so elated because that let me know that I had potential, but just needed to learn what to do. I've been pressing forward ever since. 
9.If I could spend an hour with any Celebrity, who would it be and why? I would love to meet Oprah Winfrey. I have had admired her career for so long and her journey to becoming the mogul she is now. Of course, she's a fellow Mississippian too so she has been an example to me of what you can be when you work hard. (Just like our plus size bridal model, Kristen) 10.What is your go-to comfort food? This is also a hard one because I am a foodie and love to eat! I love seafood, shrimp, catfish, and scallops especially, but I also love soul food!
