Blogger's Tips on What to Wear to a Wedding

Blog Miss Pandemonium Wedding Guest A big thanks (grazie!) to Italian fashion, beauty and lifestyle blogger, Alessandra Nido, for featuring Sydney's Closet in her recent blog called "Miss Panedominium".  What an honor for our designs to be showcased from Italy, the fashion capital of the world. As a curvy girl herself, Alessandra, (love her name!), starts panicking about what to wear to a wedding the moment she gets the invitation. Don't we all! To eliminate the angst, sometimes I have to remind myself that no one is really  looking at the guests.  After all, all eyes are on the bride!  Still, out of respect for her special day, you always want to dress to impress the bride.  Alessandra fell in love with three of Sydney's Closet designs for the best-dressed wedding guest. The styles she mentions in her blog actually will work for almost any wedding whether it is an afternoon ceremony in a garden, a destination event or a formal affair at a five-star hotel or a country club. Be sure that you read all the way to the end to find out which one Alessandra likes the best!

1) Little Black Dress:  the timeless and classic design of SC8050 caught Alessandra's attention.  She loves the beautiful bodice with the satin arranged in a criss cross pattern.  The V-neckline dips just low enough to be sexy without being too revealing.  We call this knee length dress "Seams Good to Me".  It certainly seemed good to Alessandra.  2)  The Voluptuous One:   the elegant and oh-so sexy design of SC3043 suits Alessandra's sophisticated eye.  She adores that the two-tone polished chiffon design traces your body's natural curves. Alessandra couldn't resist calling this knee-length one-shoulder design "an absolute delight". 3) The Sophisticated One:  the impeccable taste of this long formal dress captures Alessandra's affinity for refinement.  She notes that the sparkling sequins sewn on the trendy sheer net bodice and the Empire waistline flatter any curvy figure no matter what your body type. I am thrilled Alessandra made this design one of her favs!  It's one of the hottest new styles from our Spring 2014 Collection!  Best of all the navy blue color means you can wear this to a winter, spring, summer or fall wedding.  Navy is a color that works year-round making it a perfect workhorse for your wardrobe. And which one did Alessandra vote as her favorite?  The answer is the second design: Style SC3043 that Sydney's Closet appropriately calls the  "Picture Perfect" plus size dress.  She's got great taste.  This style is one of our bestsellers!  Customers tell us that they love the taupe color as fresh, new alternative to black. Now tell me which one is your favorite to wear as a guest of the wedding! Still unsure on what to wear to a wedding?  I'd love to help.  Check out more tips I've put together on how you can be the best dressed wedding guest.
