In 2022 our Sydney’s Closet Fashion Team traveled all across the U.S for photoshoots capturing our many fabulous plus size formal collections. For our fifth and final shoot of the year, we jetted off to the east coast to work with world renowned fashion photographer, Lindsay Adler.
Known for her incredible fashion photography and striking editorial images, it was clear that Lindsay Adler,and her best-in-class crew were the perfect choice to bring these party dresses to life! Sydney’s Closet plus size dresses take celebrations to the next level.
Whether it’s a fully sequined gown like our Flawless Gown, or a chic bridal look in our Clara Bridal Dress - we wanted to show just how dynamic these dresses were going to be for all of our customer’s exciting upcoming events.
In casting this photoshoot, our team was searching for a plus size model with the confidence and charisma to exude that same celebratory energy. Plus model Malyika Jackson of JL Model Management was clearly a stellar choice!
Lights up on our photoshoot day, the set was buzzing with excitement as Sydney’s Closet President, Founder, and Designer Phyllis Brasch Librach sat at the helm, no detail too small to oversee like hair, makeup, lighting, and styling. From the first shot of the day to the last, magic was created with each and every flash as Librach and Adler's visions became reality.
Sequins took center stage in cocktail and formal dresses alike. Some in multiple colors like our brand new plus size cocktail Empire Strikes Party Dress, and a select few had their shining moment in eye-catching editorial images.
