Ladies in Red at the Golden Globes 2013 [/caption]   Red ruled on the red-carpet at the 2013 Golden Globes with best-dressed celebrities setting the night aflame in that Cardinal color. Zooey Deschanel was breathtaking in an Oscar de la Renta taffeta ball gown with a full skirt reminiscent of old Hollywood glam and grace.    Claire Danes showed us all that some really like it red hot in a plunging neckline designed by Versace. Jennifer Garner stood out in a strapless crimson, among the deepest red seen all evening. Jennifer Lawrence, who won Best Actress Motion Picture Musical or Comedy, accepted her award in a drop-dead gorgeous gown by Dior Haute Couture in more of a blood-orange - but still in the red family.  Noami Watts looked ravishing in a trendy ox-blood long-sleeve gown by Zac Posen with a dramatic train. Black returned back big time exuding a chic and timeless look.   Nicole Kidman looked strikingly sexy in a midriff-baring Alexander McQueen design. Dame Helen Mirren dazzled in a long sleeve with - what else- but gold details. Julianne Moore added a touch of white strategically placed at the waist and side to her long-sleeved Tom Ford design. Sofia Vergara looked ravishing in a body-hugging black strapless that shimmered, glimmered and shined. Real glam! Halle Berry broke out of the pack wearing eye-catching print gown.  So did Lucy Liu who boosted how practical the pockets in her blue floral ball gown skirt were for conveniently stashing stuff. Other trends spotted on the red carpet:  deep plunging necklines, sexy open backs and for those who didn't dare bare it all - sleeves. Adele, who just gave birth to her son 12 weeks ago, arrived in a black Burberry beaded scoop gown that real women could actually wear when they dress up for special occasions.
