Trendy 2015 Plus Size Bridal Gowns

Got Engaged? Discover trendy 2015 plus size bridal gowns. The New Year is officially in full swing, and with it come many new brides-to-be. If you or someone you know got engaged over the holidays – congratulations!  I am thrilled to kick off the dress search with Sydney's Closet latest collection of plus size wedding dresses for 2015: beautiful, on-trend designs with a flattering fit for your perfect wedding! This season’s bridal gowns will complement any setting, from a casual outdoor gathering to a romantic indoor ceremony. I combed through the season’s key bridal trends when designing this collection to make it as fresh and exciting as possible:
  • Lace: Vintage inspirations are popular with brides, but this is so not your grandmother’s lace. Lace mixed with other materials makes a statement, and beaded lace looks updated and glamorous.
  • Illusion Necklines: I love this trend – illusion necklines look sexy and give a hint of sheer while still supporting your dress. You can have a beautiful, sweeping sweetheart neckline along with that extra coverage.  It's the best of both fashion worlds
  • Jeweled Necklines: Bring on the bling! Jeweled necklines add impact to simpler dress styles, so even if you opt for a classic fit you can still add  sparkling embellishment for an unforgettable wedding dress.
  • Keyhole Backs: Pair your wedding updo with a keyhole back for a flash of skin. You can turn heads from every angle in a dress with a back that dazzles.
Spring 2015 Collection Plus Size Wedding Dresses I designed the Spring 2015 plus size wedding dress collection to fit and flatter full-figured brides. The collection offers traditional wedding gowns perfect for a dreamy church wedding. If your big day is taking place in a destination setting, you will fall in love with Sydney's Closet collection of informal plus size wedding dresses whether you plan to be on a boat deck, a beach shore, backyard, vineyard or a City Hall. Let me share with you several of the newest designs so you can find your favorite: Bridal Dresses Featured in Blog "Hugs and Kisses" tea-length plus-size wedding dress Take a break from bridal fashion tradition when you wear this charming plus size wedding dress. I paired the tea-length skirt with the sweetness of corded lace on a fitted torso. The barely-there cap sleeves set off a beautiful V-neck that I considered perfect for a casual or destination wedding. "Two Hearts Together" formal plus-size wedding gown Like the look of our "Hugs and Kisses" dress but need a longer length? This wedding gown is the answer. It takes all the delicate elements of the dress – V-neckline, lace bodice, sheer cap sleeves – and pairs them back to a floor-length A-line skirt. Take this elegant gown from the aisle to the ballroom and make it an important part of your special day. "Devoted Forever" one-shoulder bridal gown You’re the bride that is fun and spontaneous – so why shouldn't your wedding dress reflect your unique personality? Cue the "Devoted Forever" one-shoulder wedding gown. Soft pleats along the shoulder and bodice flow down to an A-line skirt and train, perfectly complimenting your curves. Pearls and sequins delicately border the waistline of this show-stopping dress. But my favorite detail is in the back. I  added a sheer panel to accentuate the one-shoulder back and accented it with embellishments. "The Look of Love"  plus size A-line wedding gown This wedding dress exudes the definition of simple and elegant. I added an intricate lattice pattern to embellish the scoop neckline of this gown.  The stunning effect is a statement neckline that comes with your dress. Soft pleats along the bodice and waistband flatter and forgive. And the classic A-line skirt and sweeping train in flowing chiffon make this a truly picture perfect wedding gown. Can't use "Your Special Day" net illusion plus size wedding dress This is your day, so make it count with a wedding dress styled with special details you always wanted. I designed the lace bodice with an illusion sweetheart bodice for an ultra feminine touch.  The lace illusion neckline lets all your guests know you're so on trend.  I added beads to the lace for a pretty touch.  Cap sleeves add to the contemporary look and give you the coverage you want.  Layers of tulle flow out from the dropped waist to create a full, floor-length A-line that gracefully moves when you walk down the aisle. . "Pure Affection" plus size informal gown with sleeves I design all our dresses exclusively for plus size bride, and this gown is no exception.  I had in mind the mature bride getting married for a second or third time.  The mock two-piece construction gracefully combines lace and chiffon into design. The lace bodice features a graceful scoop neck. Sheer three-quarter sleeves provide just the right amount of coverage. A beaded and pearl jewel accent adds a hint of embellishment. The lace peplum falls just below the natural waist to camouflage the tummy. If 2015 is your year to plan for a wedding, this collection will surely inspire you and help you find the perfect plus size wedding gown.
