When & why did you start selling formal wear?
We started TeraLee's Formals in 2013 in the basement of our home. I was looking for a career change, when the idea of a formal wear shop was introduced to me by a dear friend. As a curvy girl in high school, I was never able to find a dress off the rack. So it became my mission to help beautiful girls of all sizes find their dream dress!

TeraLee's has the largest selection of 000 - 32 sized gowns in the Michiana area. We strive to find the perfect gown, no mater the budget.
What is unique about your store?
We treat all girls as if they were family.
What do you love about Sydney's Closet?
We love that the gowns are trending styles and colors, and that they are designed with proper fit in mind. We are so excited that we can offer an amazing selection of gowns that are our girls feel and look beautiful in.

If you were to tell one person "Thank You" for helping you become the person you are today, who would it be and what did they do?
My Parents! They have always supported me in all of my adventures. They taught me to never give up, and to love everyone unconditionally. I'm so blessed to have my Mother work by my side everyday!!
What characteristic do you most admire in your staff?
Each staff member has an incredible willingness to make every girl feel like a princess! And they truly care about every girl.
Which Sydney's Closet dress is your all time favorite? Why?
Absolutely love SC7248!!! It has just enough sparkle. It looks incredible in all sizes.
What trends are you noticing for prom this year?
Were loving the novelty and shimmer fabrics.
Describe the biggest accomplishment so far for your business.
We started in our basement, and now we are expanding for the third time.
What is the best business advice you have been given?
"To never give up on your dreams"

Which celebrity would you love to have walk into your store? Why?
Each and every girl that walks through our door is a celebrity in my mind! However, all politics aside, it would be an honor to have Melania Trump bless us with her presence. She is the epitome of style and grace.
What do you love about the 2019 Tease Prom Collection?
The 2019 Tease Prom Collection is the best yet! The fabrics and styles are on trend, and so beautiful! I can't wait for our girls to see them!
Describe what a new customer could expect while visiting your store.
Our new customers can expect to be greeted by a friendly staff, and escorted to our "sparkle warehouse" to see the largest selection of prom gowns in all sizes. We go the extra mile to help each girl find the perfect dress. We also take the time to talk about hair and makeup ideas, accessory choices, how to pose for pictures, and even sit in their dress. Then we check each and every dress to make sure that it is perfect before it leaves the store.
